Christmas Decorations

I started to decorate for Christmas early this year. I don't know why - maybe because it's such a short amount of time between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. I have been kind of working on it for weeks it seems - but I will be ready to put it all away the day after Christmas! The quicker we get through Christmas the quicker we are headed to warm weather - right? RIGHT. :)

Someday soon I will write a post about Easton's obsession with inflatables. Especially Christmas inflatables. At the time that I am writing this, we currently have five in the house. Three in his bedroom and two downstairs. And their fans sound like jet motors. And I cannot stand it. Ha!

Jovie's room has a rainbow tree complete with paper stars my mom made!

Me making a super weird face, but Jovie looks so cute! In front of the Christmas tree :)
Mike found my nativity scene - I haven't seen it in three years. I bought this from a neighbor for like a dollar!
Well she wasn't my neighbor at the time, but she is now since we moved in across the street from her. It's the same nativity that my parents had when I was growing up - my mom sold one just like it at a garage sale right before they moved out of my childhood home. :) I loved coming across this and had to buy it. Unfortunately I can't display it or it will get tossed over the fence :(

Front door decorations.

My aunt and uncle bought this for us! It's kid friendly :) We leave it on the kitchen table so the kids can play with it.
So far none of the pieces have been thrown over the fence but it's probably going to happen.

Since we have been making weekly trips to Lowe's to look at Christmas inflatables, this wreath and this tree skirt caught my eye. But they were both so expensive! This week they were marked half off - so I went ahead and got them because even eight weeks later after setting eyes on them, I still loved them! The wreath was supposed to go on the front door but it is too big and won't fit between the front door and the storm door.

All about lettered banners this year apparently. :)
