Easton is here!

On Thursday, June 19th, Mike, Grayson and I posed for our final picture as a family of three. Of course Mike and Grayson look like they could be models on a magazine cover, and then there was me. Huge, tired, swollen and ready to have the baby already! :) On Friday, June 20th, we had to be at the hospital at 6:00 am. Of course we were up a lot earlier than that, and Mike was hungry so we ran out to McDonalds. As we passed my parents neighborhood, I blew kisses because Grayson had spent the night there and I was missing him something fierce! Right before we got to McDonalds, a black cat ran out in front of us and I said, "Well if I was the superstitious type, I think I would probably be freaking out about that." It reminded me of being in a golf cart with my aunt and uncle, my sister-in-law at the wheel the night before Mike's and my wedding at Lakeside, and a black cat ran out in front of us then, and my uncle said, "Oh no, Erin! Don't look!" We laug...

This Pregnancy

Today I am 36 weeks and 5 days. Or as I tiredly told someone today, "36 days and 5 weeks." And didn't even catch my mistake until moments later and then felt too weary to clarify what I meant. I was talking to a fellow mom who actually has four kids, so I knew she could interpret what I was trying to say. I think it is fair to say that I have reached the tired and uncomfortable part of this pregnancy. I am officially waddling because my hips are killing. But sans makeup and my hair being done, I actually think I look pretty good considering! If you have read my blog for awhile now, you would know that this pregnancy has thrown me for a total loop. It is the complete opposite of my pregnancy with Grayson in good and bad ways. One very weird thing I have been dealing with is my complete and total disgust with bugs. For instance, Mike has had to deal with ticks a lot and has come home with them either on him or had an encounter with them while he was working a...
