Some of my favorite things... 1) Sitting in the atrium at work during a rainstorm. The office building where I work has a 3+ story atrium with floor to ceiling windows and a metal roof. Our receptionist has been on vacation, so I have been filling in for her for a couple hours each day. Yesterday I was sitting at the front desk, and this powerful rainstorm blew in. It rained so hard - and while it was pouring, the sun started to shine. It just made me smile. If there was a rainbow, I wasn't able to see it but it reminded me that God keeps His promises :) 2) Flowering Herbs body spray from Bath and Body Works I was so bummed the day they discontinued the Flowering Herbs scent when I was in high school. I loved that stuff. Well I found that it can be ordered from the Bath and Body Works website, so I bought some and it just makes me smile. Such a great scent - not too perfume-y.
