Life Lately
This is my second attempt at writing this post. My first attempt was thwarted by my desperate need to nap while my kids were napping. It doesn't happen very often, and when it does, it is a blissful thing :)
Here's what is going on...
Easton is so funny! He is talking so much more, and now he can count to 10! He also sings the ABC song, but usually just the LMNOP part which he slurs together and it is adorable.
Mike gets doughnuts for us once a week. It's his thing, and you will hear no complaints from me ;) This week Easton preferred putting his doughnuts on his head and posing to eating them.
Now that I will be turning 34 shortly, I thought it would be a good idea to make an investment in some makeup. I have been following Cara at Maskcara (see what she did there?) for a couple years, and I have been intrigued by how she makes applying makeup look so easy. So I thought I would give her makeup a try.
We spent some time at my parents this week, and Grayson loves to be put - or he crawls - into the crib. He loves enclosed places, so I guess its no big surprise that he is such a fun of the crib.
My uncle made these cute little birds years ago and gave them to my mom. I am giving them some new life and purpose - and hanging them in my kitchen! Now if only I can find a good way to hang them....
My parents got this cute bench for their backyard, and the snow was so pretty the other day - I asked Dad to take my picture because I am one of those people.
Easton is all about Thomas - or "toot toot" - Grayson got this cool train set from his Grandpa Dave and Grandma Beth - and Easton has gotten a lot of joy from it!
He is such a snuggly kid.
I bought new shoes for the spring and summer for my boys who loathe socks. These are so easy to slip on and off. I highly recommend them!
He poured that bowl of goldfish crackers all by himself. :)
So I thought my being tired all the time was on account of my two kids. Apparently my Vitamin D level is crazy low - a 7! The acceptable range is 30 to 100. So yeah. No wonder I am exhausted constantly. My doctor put me on this high dosage - one pill a week for the next six weeks. Hopefully it helps me feel more energetic!
He loves to "help" with the laundry.
My two kiddos looking at their daddy as he walks in the room. :)
So that's life lately. Please be praying for us because March is a big month for us - for many reasons.
