Easter - Part I
I am doing a two-part Easter series because this Easter was THAT fun! Last year our Easter weekend was shot as sickness came through our family. On Easter Sunday we spent a good majority of the day in the ER with a very ill Grayson. It was Easton's first Easter, and it was a sad affair.
But this year? This year made up for last year and then some. We were all healthy. The weather was perfect...sunny and in the 70s.
On Saturday, my dad and Mike went to the shooting range while my mom and I dyed Easter eggs with the boys. Easton thought it was interesting, and even Grayson checked it out - but let's just face it...Mom and I dyed Easter eggs because it was fun for us ;)

I am a big fan of "rainbow-tizing" things...including Easter eggs.
It reminds me that God keeps His promises!
Easton has been playing with these Easter eggs since my mom put them out a few weeks ago. He had so much fun putting them in the basket!
This is the first year the Easter Bunny came to our house. :)
My parents watched the boys so Mike and I could go to church.
This was the best we could do. Silvie snuck into the picture.
We had ham. cheesy potatoes, horesradish carrots, cheesy and pineapple casserole - and of course rainbow cake because again...God keeps His promises!
Grayson sat with us for a majority of the meal which was a little Easter blessing in and of itself.
My mom got out her hammock and Mike and Gray had some fun with it.
Grayson LOVES the rocking motion of the hammock.
My mom went all out for Easter for us this year. The big gift is a fish tank for the boys!
My parents have pileated woodpeckers in their backyard, and they have done a TON of damage to this one tree. Crazy!
