Easton | 15 Months

I am WAY behind on this month's update post on Easton. I am something like two weeks behind. In my defense, however, we had family in town, a lot of meetings, Mike's schedule is never consistent. It is just a super busy time. Things have kinda sorta settled down (until next week when they pick up again) so I thought I would share a little bit about Easton this month.

He is sleeping through the night like a champ! Most nights. But not last night so much. However the last few weeks, on a whole, he has been doing great. I put him to bed at 8 and often don't hear from him again until 7:30 or 8 the next morning!

He is WALKING! He started taking steps last month, and even now he much prefers to crawl. With much encouragement, he will walk but he would really rather not if he had to chose. It's super frustrating for me because my life would be a little easier if he could walk but then maybe not! :)

He weighs about 25 lbs, and he is in the 75th percentile for weight and 25th for height, so he is short and stout.

He is now asking for milk! And signing for more.

He sings the song for Peppa Pig, but just the tune - not the words.

He is still going through his "so big" "Oh NO" "achooo!" bag of tricks.

He has been mimicking a lot of sounds.

He is very very dramatic. Just tell him "no" in a kind but firm voice causes him to collapse into a ball of tears. We have our work cut out for us, that's for sure.

He loves to give hugs. He also likes to try to flip out of our arms. He is learning how to come down the steps.

He plays with the dogs at my parents' house - he chases them and throws a toy for them.

He is still using a pacifier, but I don't know for how much longer. Probably will be phasing that out sooner than later. The last two he has used, he has bit holes into them :(

He is the happiest kid, and he often gets compliments for his cute cheeks, wide grin and sweet dimple. He is hilarious, cuddly and fun.
