Easton | 4 Months

Our Easton is 4 months old. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!

This kid is hilarious. And so smiley all the time. He is such a good baby. If he fusses it is because he is either hungry or his diaper needs changed. When I am stressed out or feeling sad, all I have to do is take a peek at him, and he breaks out into the biggest smile and I just melt.

So what is new with Easton this month?

- He found his feet! His right foot first and then a few days later his left one.

- He is not a napper. He does not nap very often or for very long. But that's okay because it's not like I can nap when he does. Not with Grayson running around!

- He sleeps through the night about four nights a week. He is often up around 4 to eat and then sometimes 6 or 7 to eat again. It's not bad really, but I'd love if he consistently slept through the night every single night. What mom of a four month old doesn't feel like that? ;)

- He has mastered rolling from his stomach to his left or to his right. And a recent development, he can flip from his back to his stomach and he has started to scoot a little bit. He wants to crawl - I wonder if he will be an early crawler like Grayson was.

- He loves to be rocked.

- He watches Grayson ALL THE TIME. I can't wait until they run around together to play. He also laughs when Grayson is crying. Brothers!

- He will be transitioning to his crib very soon. I just need to get a monitor in his nursery before I feel comfortable putting him in there. In fact that was the plan to do that this week, but he has been battling the sniffles for a week now. Since I am concerned about this respiratory virus, I have been watching him very closely. He sees the doctor this coming week for his four month appointment.

- He is wearing a wide array of clothes - 3 to 6th and even some 9 month thrown in for good measure.

- He has super chubby cheeks!

- He laughs and coos all the time. He can often be found with one foot up in the air.

On October 19th, it will be one year since I found out I was expecting Easton. What a wonderful and exciting surprise he was! We had no idea how much we needed this little guy in our life. We are so thankful for him!
