Grayson | 4 Months!

On Monday, Grayson will be 4 months old!

I was telling a friend last night at dinner that I can't really remember life without him.

Over the past month, we have seen more changes in him than in any other month - so far anyway. Who knows what next month will hold. :)

He'll be going to the doctor on Wednesday for his four month check up and his second round of vaccines. (Not looking forward to that so much.)

He had a crazy growth spurt at 12 weeks...I kept thinking it would only last a few days - it ended up being a solid week of crying and almost constant eating - oh and for Grayson too! ;)  I am guessing he gained a few pounds and at least two inches. We'll see if I am correct in my prediction!

Mike and I have always said that we could tell Grayson's personality the day he was born. But now we are starting to see it bloom, and he is one very chill little baby. Or LB as Mike calls him.

Over the past month, Grayson has...

- Started to laugh. A LOT. He especially loves giggling at Daddy and the grandparents.

- He now reaches for toys and plays with the ones we have hanging from his car seat.

- He went from Size 1 diapers to Size 2. After multiple blowouts a day, I took to the MOPS Facebook page for my church, asked about it and I had dozens of people with answers. I asked them if they could tell I was a new mom? ;) One friend suggested maybe he had grown out of his size - and she was right on!

- He has been going to sleep a lot earlier. He falls asleep anywhere from 10 to 11:30 and then usually sleeps until 8:30. Sometimes later. We still don't have a bedtime routine into place. My bad.

- He has found his feet, and he LOVES THEM. But only the right one ever ends up in his mouth. If he can get to his feet, he is a happy camper. They have provided him a constant source of entertainment.

- He nows shrieks and squeals. He loves hearing his voice.

- Sometimes we listen to Daddy on the scanner. That always puts him to sleep!

- He enjoys sitting in his bumbo in the kitchen while Grandma and I are in there cooking and cleaning, and he keeps us amused with his constant chatter.

- He now has a definitive tired cry and hungry cry.

- The other day he reached for his bottle - something I have never witnessed him doing before. That was so neat!

- He loves riding in the car. We hope he continues to love this. He is a great little traveler.

- He however does not like to sit in his car seat for too long unless he is moving - especially at church. I don't mind. To me there is nothing much sweeter than holding my baby on my hip at church and singing praise songs!

- I am still concerned about the rash on his cheeks. It comes and goes - some days are worse than others. We've also been dealing with cradle cap which is more bothersome for me than for him. I have a list of questions to ask his doctor at his appointment this coming week!

And now what you all have been waiting for...PICTURES!

He's got this head-control thing down pat!

He likes Target just as much as his mommy!

Loves to chew on his foot :)

Go Bucs! Worn in honor of his Great Grandpa Emery!

He is the CUTEST.
