I know you have been waiting with bated breath, sitting on the edge of your seat, just hoping to catch a glimpse of Grayson's nursery. I am sure this is the single most exciting thing you will read
today this weekend EVER! :)
A couple of things:
- This house is brand new, and the builder painted the rooms exactly the colors we would have. So weird. But perfect. When I first saw this room, I knew it would be perfect for the nursery - and I loved the gray color.
- I did everything on the cheap, and I am pretty proud of myself. Knowing that we were going down to one income, I watched how much money I spent and re-used a lot of items from other parts of our house. For instance, the changing table is a a desk, the cube organizer was in our bedroom, the foot locker was Mike's from the Army, the rocking chair was my mom passed down from her aunt, etc. The only new piece of furniture is the crib, and that was a gift from my old group at work (via gift card). :)
- I took all these pictures with my iPhone, which explains some of the blurriness.
Without further ado...

The poster above the changing table was created by the very talented Michael Bodine at My Imprint Studios
It is the phonetic alphabet used by Mike's law enforcement agency. I purposefully didn't include the top of the print because it contains the name of where Mike works. If you know us, then you know what that is :) |

| I love how bright and sunny this room is during the afternoon. |
 |
| Hanging in the corner is the paint chip mobile that my mom and I created. I love it :) |
 |
| This crib is from Target. I like it, but it was pretty banged up and has some nicks in it. The sheet is from Target too. I have a bumper and adorable yellow and gray sheet with cute cars on it too that were shower gifts from Mike's mom and sisters-in-law - Natalie and Kristi - along with the bedskirt (shown) - all from Pottery Barn Kids. |

| Another shot of the mobile. |
 |
| My favorite part of the room...Mike took these pictures :) |
 |
| I purchased the bins from Target. They are cheerful, and I like the pop of color on the gray wall. |

There is a picture of Mike in his full uniform that hangs on the bulletin board, but I took it down for the picture. I made the washi tape bunting. I decided to put up all of our hospital bracelets (even Mike had one) and a card from Mike's work. I plan to put up pictures of great-grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins too but that is a work in progress :)

That's it :) I hope you enjoyed this little peek into our home!
