A Blah Update
Well I am proud to say I have crossed off a few of my items on my "to do" list while Mike is in training...
The kitchen is officially painted!
And we were gave our dryer to someone who needed it. It is no longer sitting in my garage not being used!
Well okay. Just two things. Maybe saying "a few" was an exaggeration :)
Life is good here. Hard, but good. Taking it one day at a time. Somedays things are not so fun, other days are easier. I miss my husband more than anything. Sometimes something will happen at work or in my personal life, and I'll think, I HAVE TO TELL MIKE. And then I remember that I have to remember that news until the end of the week. Mike has been getting Wednesday liberty, so that has been a lot of fun :)
My parents and I went to Philadelphia for my cousin's wedding. I got to see some family I haven't seen since my grandpa's funeral. It was so good to see them and catch up - and just be around some of the greatest, funniest people I have ever met. My cousins and my uncles had me cracking up especially. On our way home, we stopped for breakfast with my dad's side of the family - we had 18 people in attendance! That was also pretty awesome.
