Ch-Ch-Changes :)
You know how you have that one thing about you that you wish you could change?
Well I have about five of those "one-things" but the biggest one to plague me has been my hair.
For years and years, I've struggled to accept this crazy, frizzy mane of hair that God blessed me with!
Then a few weeks ago, I saw my stylist and she convinced me that I had enough curl in my hair to ditch my blow dryer and my straightener and go, dare I say it, CURLY. Which is huge for me because I like my hair straight as a pin. No frizz. Which is kind of the way I live my life - the less fuss, the less "messy" stuff the better.
I've always envied other women with curly hair. I never realized - in all of my 29 years - that I had it too. I've been straightening the crap out of it for at least 5 years.
And now that I have worn my hair curly nearly every day for the past two weeks, shaving at least 15 minutes off my time getting ready in the morning, I've decided that I am putting away the straightener and the hairdryer for awhile. I have gotten more compliments - from people I don't even talk to or people who rarely give compliments - then I think I have ever gotten in my life. Someone told me that I look much younger, which pleased me to no end!
So the curly hair is here to stay :) Until the weather changes anyway and it's no longer healthy to leave the house with wet hair :)
