Happy Valentine's Day!

I have always loved this day. Out of my last 27 Valentine's Day, I have only had a "valentine" for five years. That means 22 years without ever having someone to share my Valentine's Day with. It didn't matter though because my parents always worked hard to make the day special for Robbie and me. We always got cards, candy and a little gift. We knew we were loved beyond measure any other day of the year, but that day was just really special. It makes me smile just thinking about it :)

Mike and I headed south yesterday to visit his brother and sister-in-law. We had a great time. Mike worked yesterday morning, so he passed out when as we were headed home - luckily, I was driving! ;) But it gave me a lot of time to think - which is not always such a good thing - but it was good last night. It turned from thinking into a prayer for the hour and half drive home.

But as a result, I have a lot of "stuff" on my heart today. I am going to attempt to clean the apartment and make dinner for Mike tonight. We will see how far I get!! Why is that you plan something in your head, and then it never turns out the way you planned for it?
